Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sprinkler Systems Lead Technician to join our team. As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing various types of inspections, testing and maintenance on fire protection systems.
Job Functions:
1) Inspect, test, and maintain water-based and suppression systems to ensure proper functioning of fire protection equipment/systems.
2) Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs.
3) Conduct equipment testing in accordance with NFPA and manufacturer's procedures.
4) Performs inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems using NFPA 25 and other applicable NFPA codes.
Experience Requirements:
1) 5-8 years documented experience as a Fire Sprinkler/Suppression Technician.
2) Must possess and maintain a minimum NICET III certification.
3) Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1) Comprehensive knowledge of NFPA codes, industry standards, and manufacturer’s guidelines and procedures.
2) Troubleshoot, identify and repair/replace defective components of fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems.
3) Experience in assembling, calibrating, and maintaining fire protection systems.
4) Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
5) Punctual at work locations and complete scheduled projects in a timely manner.
6) Complete documentation on work orders is done on a timely and accurate basis.
