Musician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Musician to join our team. As a Musician, you will be responsible for performing live music and help to lift the atmosphere for worship. Our Church is strongly rooted in the Pentecostal tradition COGIC. This is an exciting opportunity to use your musical skills and contribute to the development and empowerment of people as well as the community.

Duties:

- Perform live music during local worship services particluar on Sunday mornings.

- Collaborate with other musicians and artists to create a memboral worship experience.

- Practice regularly to maintain and improve musical skills

- Select appropriate repertoire for each song, taking into consideration the audience and venue

- Engage with the audience and create an enjoyable and interactive experience

- Set up and dismantle musical equipment as needed

- Attend rehearsals and participate in creative discussions with the production team

Requirements:

- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments, such as guitar, piano, organ, keyboard, etc.

- Good knowledge of church worship style and preaching with the ability to read and follow the flow of the service

- Excellent stage presence and ability to connect with the audience

- Ability to adapt to different musical styles and genres

- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
