Summary for a Machine Operator:
Operate machines to punch, blank, or bend sheet metal into shapes
Machine Operator Essential Duties:
- Use blue prints to perform quality checks.
- Complete quality and safety paperwork.
- Inspect and oil equipment as needed.
- Turn on and off machine as needed.
- Check safety devices when needed.
- Maintain good housekeeping (5s).
- Identify differences and inconsistencies in parts or operation.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities a Machine Operator Needs:
- Ability to identify the differences and inconsistencies in parts or operation (REQUIRED)
- Ability to read blue prints (REQUIRED)
- Machine operating experience (PERFERRED)
Pay Details: $14.50 per hour
