Summary :
Actively promote safe execution of projects, with an achievable goal of zero jobsite incidents. Directs the activities and assign crew tasks.
Thorough understanding of blueprints. Maintain open, positive, and direct lines of communication among crew members, manager, and Project Superintendent.
Proactively coordinate and drive work schedule. Crew Leader are responsible for performing all duties associated with required work, while working and leading crews to successfully complete projects within specifications, in a quality manner.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment, and assigned personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensure job safety to the standards of Nabholz.
- Proficient in all phases work which include construction, excavation, forming systems, rebar, verifying grades, various foundation systems, walls, buildings etc.
- Read and understand drawings, specifications, budgets and assign task specific duties to the crew.
- Have excellent communication skills for clients and Nabholz.
- Forecast equipment and material requirements, determine sequence of work, maintain a schedule, and communicate updates and impacts to schedule to General superintendent and / or project manager.
- Proficient in basic math skills.
- Have practical working knowledge and experience with multiple construction activities.
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with the contract documents.
- Manage personnel, productivity, training, and development of your crew.
- Ensure complete and accurate daily documentation of work orders / change orders.
- This job is safety sensitive for medical marijuana purposes.
- All other tasks as assigned.
Education / Skill Requirements :
- 5yrs Experience construction and / or concrete.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and a project schedule.
- Proficient in basic math skills.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred but not required.
- OSHA 10HR.
Physical Demands :
- Climb and maintain body balance.
- Use hands and arms fully; Stand, kneel, bend, crawl, or crouch for long periods.
- See well (either naturally or with correction).
- Ability to continuously sit, stand or walk.
- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds often and up to 100 occasionally.
- Ability to work in heat or cold, work outside, work in high elevations.
Work environment :
