Summary
NAC Architecture is a growing design firm that realizes the essential role that visual storytelling plays in how we communicate our work. The Visualization Manager will support the trajectory of the firm through enhancing a culture of visual production and proliferation. Our visual work reflects our commitment to design excellence and our passion for social impact. The Visualization Manager will provide comprehensive leadership and management oversight on multiple medium and large-scale public works projects, including executing project visuals for RFQ’s, Interviews, and Predesign through Project Close-out, consultant coordination, client, and technical reviews. They will work directly with the Design Director and Principal in Charge on all visual aspects of the project, including business development, contract negotiations, and client relations. They also take primary responsibility for management of the project’s “visuals package” budget and schedule, and work plan.
In a broad sense, the Visualization Manager will build our in-house capabilities and skillsets to create visual output that furthers a cohesive design agenda. Visualization Manager will assess new tools, hardware, and workflows to be able to improve the work product and the relationship of design and visualization. The Visualization Manager is responsible to streamline and build graphic standards for all our daily tasks by consistently learning, teaching, organizing, and creating high quality graphic deliverables that exemplify the design values and culture of the firm.
Requirements
- Possesses excellent, creative, and compelling visual storytelling skills, utilizing various mediums
- Committed to design excellence and is passionate about social impact, diversity, and equity
- Strong ability to organize and build graphic standards that produce high quality graphic deliverables that exemplify NAC’s design values and culture
- Will assist in projects with experiential design features
- Ability to create high quality renderings, graphic designs, and animation visuals
- Responsible to provide leadership and management oversight on multiple medium and large-scale public works projects
- Responsible to create project visuals for RFQ’s, Interviews, and Predesign through Project Closeout, consultant coordination, client, and technical reviews
- Regularly collaborates with the Principal in Charge on all visual aspects of the project such as business development, contract negotiations and client relations
- Responsible to manage of the project’s “ visual package ” budget, schedule, and work plan
- Support structure of Open Asset digital asset management library
- Support award, PR, social media or other promotional materials through visual assets
Competencies:
- Revit, Rhino, Enscape are our current visualization tools in partnership with the Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency in these tools in addition to others is a must
- Strong video editing skills
- Strong sense of aesthetic and design quality
- An eye for detail, excellent time management and organizational skills
- Effective under pressure of tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization and communicate ideas to target audiences
- Proven experience in developing and integrating creative storytelling and graphics
- Team player attitude, willing to assist others; focused on internal and external client service; flexible and takes ownership and initiative
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment to share knowledge and seek knowledge from others
- Strong sense of initiative and is a natural implementer

Work Environment
- This position operates in a professional open office environment with low to moderate noise levels including collaborative work areas for team meetings. Each office provides collaborative work areas and shared resources such as video conferencing, printing/scanning, and a café for dining.
Physical Demands
- Hand/Wrist/Finger dexterity for 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week
- Ability to lift 15 lbs-25 lbs
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
Position Type/Hours expected to work
- This is a full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design or related field preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of corporate graphic design experience
