What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, Academy position at NADA?
Summary:
Support the training program with the coordination, production and administration of classes in a highly interactive work environment.
Essential Functions:
- Engage, interact, and communicate across all Dealership Operations and Membership departments and respective leadership.
- Establish and maintain integrity within a database by verifying and inputting data for assigned classes.
- Communicate pre-course requirements to students, sponsors and other representatives in a timely manner.
- Manage participants in the LMS web-based environment for students, sponsors, instructors, and staff use.
- Collect and compile critical electronic financial statement participant information.
- Liaise with internal staff for database, LMS, and other technical support issues.
- Assist students during class sessions with face-to-face and/or online support.
- Provide ongoing telephone and email support.
- Support recruitment of students and lead generation efforts.
- Respond to information requests for all training programs.
- Produce and maintain all administrative documents for assigned class sessions.
- Assist management with invoicing and receipts.
- Promote brand awareness and support all Dealership Operations products and services.
- Complete personal development requirements as noted in Employee Goals and Evaluation.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Copy and distribute training materials that support program goals.
- Provide administrative assistance to instructors as requested.
- Ensure documentation is kept current.
- Assist with general correspondence for enrollees and sponsors.
- Manage department office supplies.
- Other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience
Associate’s degree or 3-4 years administrative and customer service experience in a professional office environment. Ability to maintain composure, show flexibility, initiative, and innovation. Ability to manage distractions and perform in a fast-paced work environment. Well organized and detail-oriented. Must possess strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and interact effectively and professionally with staff, students, sponsors, manufacturers and other organizations. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and good judgment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate technical proficiency with computer systems. Proficient in MS applications to include Word, Excel, Outlook.
