NAHGA CLAIM SERVICES is looking for a CLAIMS EXAMINER/ADJUSTER!

In search of a meticulous and dedicated Claims Examiner/Adjuster to join our growing team. The individual in this role will be responsible for analyzing policyholder claims and evaluating validity. Candidates should be comfortable communicating with policyholders, insurance brokers, physicians, and medical facilities, and should be prepared to work within a team in a fast paced environment.
CLAIMS EXAMINER/ADJUSTER ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Process claims accurately according to policy provisions and NAHGA guidelines.
· Maintain an accuracy percentage of 98% for both financial and transactional audits.
· Maintain an average processing rate within policy guidelines.
· Document systems appropriately for every activity or transaction.
· Respond to all voicemails and emails within 24 hours of receipt.
· Follow up or process all pending claims within policy guidelines.
· Alert management of any adverse or negative interactions with accounts or claimants while striving to resolve the issue.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED:
- Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written; meticulous work ethic; thorough, investigative skills; problem solver, critical thinker; analytically and mathematically minded; proficient computer skills required to enter claim information and maneuver between different applications; professional appearance and attitude; ability to work as part of a team.
- Preferred Experience: Work experience/on-the-job training as a Claims Adjuster or in the medical or insurance fields.
- Must earn Adjuster's License within first six months of employment.

The CLAIMS ADJUSTER position is a full-time position; normal business hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Pay is commensurate with experience.
