Job Summary:
This position is a Hybrid Remote position.
Hybrid Remote - Teleworking. Candidate must be able to come into the office for approximately 3 - 6 weeks of training, occasional meetings, requirements of your position duties and other contract requirements.
Candidate must live within a 90 mile commuting distance from the work site.
The Change Manager will supervise the activities of the Change Management Group, including the HR Manager, Quality Manager, Training Manager, and Operations Excellence Manager. The Change Manager will ensure that these components work collaboratively and are focused on the priorities of the Center. The Change Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager and plays a crucial role in the management of transformational change and core support functions of the Center.
Job Responsibilities:
Applies a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
Applies a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
Supports communication efforts.
Supports the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
Assesses the change impact.
Conducts impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
Supports training, hiring and retention efforts.
Provides input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs, and hiring and retention strategies.
Completes change management assessments.
Identifies, analyzes and prepares risk mitigation tactics.
Identifies and manages anticipated resistance.
Consults and coaches project teams.
Creates actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
Supports and engages senior leaders.
Coaches managers and supervisors.
Supports organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
Coordinates efforts with other specialists.
Manages stakeholders.
Tracks and reports issues.
Defines and measures success metrics and monitor change progress.
Suppors change management at the organizational level.
Manages the change portfolio.
Minimum Qualification:
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must successfully complete a comprehensive 10-year criminal and credit history background check.
Must successfully complete a drug screening.
BA or BS degree or equivalent
A minimum of 5 to 10 years of management experience, depending upon the seniority of the position(s) held.
2 years minimum experience in managing the implementation of process changes.
Must be a leader who can influence stakeholders in written and oral communications.
Must be able to maintain a Secret security classification.
Must have excellent writing and oral communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
5 years’ experience managing people and change in a federal contract environment.
Knowledge of Department of State Visa Support Service processes.
You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.
