Key Responsibilities:
- Help clients on-site with plumbing issues
- Working at a client’s site, often at height or in cramped conditions
- Preparing cost estimates
- Quickly figure out and fix maintenance problems
- Testing pipes for leaks
- Cutting, welding and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures
- Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance
- Perform routine maintenance activities to guarantee the optimal functionality and performance of equipment
- Install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and wastewater disposal
- Installing hot and cold water, sanitation and drainage
- Setting up rainwater harvesters and lead soakers
- Installing central heating systems and domestic fuel-burning appliances using gas, oil or solid fuel
- Designing water and heating systems
- Cutting and joining pipes and fittings
- Create records of materials used
- Responding to emergency call-outs such as floods or boiler breakdowns
- Valid plumbing license
- Own transportation and valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
