Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for conducting thorough examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and carefully interpreting the results to ensure accurate diagnosis.
• Prescribing medications and providing clear instructions to patients, along with offering appropriate treatment for injuries such as suturing and splinting, will be part of your responsibilities.
• Performing routine check-ups, providing advice on healthy habits, and counseling patients on health maintenance will contribute to promoting overall wellness.
• Assisting in patient handling and performing various procedures including injections, suturing, wound care, infection management, IV fluid administration, and Pap smears will be crucial to providing comprehensive care.
• Accurate documentation of patient information and oversight of scribe notes will be important for maintaining complete and organized records.
• You will actively engage in collaborative efforts, fostering open and effective communication among team members, sharing innovative ideas, and providing support to promote unity and cooperation in achieving shared goals and objectives.

Skills and Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree completion with residency in FP/IM/ER or sufficient outpatient experience
• State Certification and Licensure, certified by USCIS for Immigration Medical Exams
• Valid Medication Administration Training (MAT) Certificate
• HIPAA Training and all required NYS registration training including BLS, ACLS training, Infection Control Training, and DEA number
• Proficient knowledge in diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases, therapy and counseling techniques, oral expression, inductive and deductive reasoning, writing, and active listening skills
• Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, computer skills, stress management skills, and time management skills
• Honest, sincere, and punctual with strict confidentiality, respectful attitude, superior work ethic, and flexibility
