Essential Job Duties:
- Maintains the physical condition of equipment to reflect cleanliness, efficiency, and organization.
- The Shuttle Manager oversees the logistic operations of a distribution warehouse which serves to build outbound shipments of merchandise destined for sale in the LKQ/Keystone branch locations; including full loads to company locations, backhauls from company and outside vendors, and day-to-day operations.
- Supervises all tractor driver personnel, and assigns and schedules routine and duties.
- Monitors accuracy of departure and arrival schedules.
- Monitors expense budgets for repair and maintenance of equipment and overall expenses.
- Communicates directly with maintenance department and/or Vendors on repairs, and inventory needs.
- Responsible for training and development of all tractor driver personnel, including hiring and evaluating employees.
- Works directly with satellite managers on maintaining accurate and on-time delivery.
- Complies with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free workplace.
- Initiate and support the continual improvement of LKQ/Keystone Automotive Industries' quality improvement system.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports assigned.
- Assumes other duties as assigned.
