Position Title: Machine Operator

Reports to: Department or Shift Supervisor

First Shift ~ Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
Second Shift ~ Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am ~ 15% Shift Premium
Third Shift ~ Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am ~ 5% Shift Premium
General Responsibilities and Function
- Set up, adjust and operate machines
- Perform quality control; follow set up sheets and instructions
- Minor program editing, when necessary
- Ability to operate CNC and manual machines
- Evaluate and perform tool changes
- Maintain cleanliness in work area
- Promote and emphasize safety at all times
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED, preferred
Analytical and numerical skills; ability to perform mathematical calculations and work with decimals/fractions
Use of basic measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
Ability to read blueprints
Capable of standing for long periods of time
Good interpersonal skills
