What are the responsibilities and job description for the Smog Technician position at Napa Smog Test Only?
Looking for a Licensed Smog Technician for Saturdays to do primarily OBD II inspections (OIS)
Job duties will include performing Smog Check Inspections on both the OBD II Inspection System (OIS) and the BAR 97 Machine (using the dynamometer when required)
Customer service is a priority, as is a neat appearance and acceptable STAR score or No Score Technician.
Must have current Smog License.
Must have a valid CA Drivers License.
Job Details:
- Perform Smog Checks
- Enter information into computer
- Invoice customers
- Maintain shop cleanliness and equipment in good standing
- You are smog tech, service writer and cashier.
Job requirements:
- Dependability and timeliness a must
- Strong Communication skills
- No citations within the last 12 months
- STAR score above 40 or No Score

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
