Accounting Administrator

Role:

The Accounting Administrator is responsible for assisting the Accounting Department with data entry, indexing and other administrative duties as assigned.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assist with data entry of invoices.
• Scan remittances and invoices.
• Process brokerage invoices.
• Match ACH, check, and credit card payment batches to invoices for review by Accounting Manager or CFO.
• Verifies invoices against purchase orders.
• Mail checks from accounts payable to vendors and carriers.
• Provides administrative support to Accounting Department
• Refers any unresolved issues to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience: 1-2 years of related experience preferred.

Education: A high school diploma or GED required.
