As Academic Advisor, you will assist students in choosing classes, determining their strengths, selecting majors, and help them work towards careers that fit their talents. QualificationsMost be highly organized and capable of handling multiple caseloadsKnowledge of database software (such as Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office toolsStrong communication skillsEffective listening skillsThe ability to work with a diverse group of students of different agesProven ability to work independentlyAdditional InformationExperience in student counselling, development, education, or related field.State license or certification.
