Nasuni's Public Relations Manager role includes responsibilities for Press and Analyst Relations. 

The Press and Analyst Relations Manager will be a member of the corporate marketing team responsible for driving awareness in the market for Nasuni’s products and services. In this role, you will play a primary role in working with Nasuni’s US and EMEA public relations agencies to define and execute the quarterly communications strategy. As a member of the Marketing team, you will be expected to understand B2B tech communication, top publications and analyst firms covering the cloud, AI, security and storage industries, identify creative opportunities and trends, help develop a healthy news pipeline, and manage and develop an internal editorial calendar of relevant topics for Nasuni leadership commentary.

We seek someone with a proven record of success within the B2B communications world as well as having prior public relations agency experience. The ideal candidate is someone with agency experience who is looking to move to the client side. This position will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Marketing and have significant exposure to senior leadership within the organization.

As the Press & Analyst Relations Manager, you will... 

  • Manage Nasuni’s global PR firms (including):
    • serving as the primary point of contact - you will be expected to be in regular communication with the two firms, providing guidance and feedback
    • working with the two firms to build and manage the global media relations program
    • attending and facilitating the weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly full PR team meetings
    • managing the review process for press releases and article drafts
    • coordinate with Nasuni spokespersons for media interviews
  • Develop and maintain an internal editorial calendar of relevant topics for Nasuni leadership commentary that aligns to key marketing campaigns, industry trends, and overall thought leadership.
    • Research and stay informed on industry trends, news and topics and sharing that back into the product and product marketing organizations.
  • Work closely with product marketing teams to understand the product roadmap in order to develop an aligned launch effort and messaging coordination.
  • Engage with the customer marketing team to understand opportunities to develop customer case studies for use with the media, identify customers who can speak on Nasuni’s behalf, and customer participation in related media opportunities.
  • Understand areas of opportunity with Nasuni’s strategic technology alliance partners.
  • Align with demand generation, social, brand, and digital teams for overall coordination and provide line of sight to news announcements to support a coordinated approach for maximum awareness. 
    • Identify and track to quarterly and annual program goals/initiatives that will be shared with executive management.
    • Manage the industry analyst relations program (in conjunction with PR teams) to ensure sufficient prep for briefings, relationship progression, line of sight to relevant research that would be appropriate for Nasuni inclusion and opportunities.  #LI-Hybrid #LI-Remote

Required skills experience we look for are …

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a B2B/tech industry public relations related role.
  • Experience managing skilled PR professionals and outside agency relationships. Corporate and agency experience preferred.
  • A highly strategic and proactive mindset with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Independent leader with exceptional program management and organizational skills that support cross-function team efforts across public relations and analyst relations.
  • Experience to work across creative and multi-cultural global regions and understand how to navigate their unique nuances.
  • Ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, working proactively and independently as a team player with positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Understanding of PR goals, strategy, measurement tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
