HR Generalist/Recruiter
Skull Valley Health Clinic is a Native American Health Clinic operated by the Skull Valley Band of Goshute Indians in Tooele, Utah. HR Administration:
- First point of contact for benefit questions from employees and managers
- Assist with HR projects and events as needed, such as performance appraisals and audits
- Manage performance related issues and disciplinary action
- Maintains all employee files, assuring all necessary documentation is maintained and managed appropriately.
- Addresses questions/concerns regarding HR-related programs/systems/applications
- Composes and analyzes reports for the HR department and management throughout SMG/OSC
- Interpret and advise employees on human resource policies and procedures
- Monitors leave status of employees on FMLA and LOA
- Develop and maintain all job descriptions and job postings
- Complete and distribute weekly and monthly staffing reports
- Scans documents into appropriate employee files
- Prepares new employee files
- experience developing and implement learning programs
Recruiting:
- Manages candidate sourcing resources and the associated business relationships with vendors
- Manages Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Screens and interviews potential candidates
- Supports recruitment efforts including job description administration, sourcing, interviewing, scheduling appointments and interacting with hiring managers and candidates regarding status of openings and applications
- Maintain tracking/measurement system directly related to recruitment effectiveness
- Develop recruitment initiatives and marketing materials to attract applicants
- Initiate and maintain contact with qualified candidates for job openings throughout recruitment and hiring process
- Review and coordinate candidate applications, conduct phone interviews/screenings, refer candidate to hiring managers, and participate in applicant interviews
- Coordinate participation in various job fairs
- Develop/maintain contacts with schools, alumni groups, outreach organizations, and other groups as necessary to meet recruiting objectives
- Maintain tracking/measurement system directly related to recruitment effectiveness
Onboarding and Orientation:
- Prepare employment offers and extend offer to candidates
- Manage all onboarding processes, including documentation, drug screenings, background screening, verify, and coordination with HRIS team.
- Conduct New Hire orientation
- Ensure excellent experience for all new hires
- Full life cycle recruiting
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to communicate confidential information.
- Experience with an ATS and an HRIS
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1-2 years of HR experience
- Experience and comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Healthcare Industry knowledge/experience is preferred but not required
Compensation DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
