Marketing Director, Lung Cancer
Natera is a global leader in cell-free DNA testing focused on changing the management of disease in reproductive health, oncology, and organ transplantation. We are growing our oncology business and looking for strategic, innovative minds to join our mission and grow with us. Signatera is a personalized, tumor-informed test for molecular residual disease (MRD) assessment and surveillance monitoring in patients previously diagnosed with cancer. Signatera has been awarded 3 FDA Breakthrough Designations, received Medicare coverage for CRC, and was granted Medicare draft coverage for use in patients receiving immunotherapy in 2020.
As a Director of Marketing, this individual will lead the strategic direction for Signatera in Lung cancer. To be successful, you will partner closely with medical, product, field sales, and business development teams to create and execute a cohesive unified launch plan. This individual will report directly to the VP of Oncology Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and own the strategic vision for Signatera in Lung cancer taking into consideration competition
  • Drive KOL engagement to gain feedback, develop deep relationships, build advocacy
  • Create and execute a promotional plan that supports a uptake across all stakeholders (e.g., academic and community oncology)
  • Lead national advisory board(s) in collaboration with medical affairs
  • Identify and manage relationships with advocacy partners
  • Frequently present plans and progress on goals to executive leadership
  • Collaborate with product management and medical affairs to understand / communicate key product features and benefits necessary to win
Successful candidate should possess the following attributes:
  • Proven strategic agility with an enterprise mindset and ability to operate with executive presence
  • Ability to partner and collaborate across a broad range of internal and external partners are required
  • Strong customer orientation and focus
  • Proven ability to communicate the complex simply (biomarkers, multiple indications, etc.)
  • Strong organizational / time management skills; manage and complete multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to establish thought leader relationships
  • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration skills
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, Advanced degree preferred (MBA or PhD)
  • Lung market experience strongly preferred
  • 10-15 years experience previous experience in product marketing, field sales, market analytics in the pharmaceutical / biotech or other related industry
  • Previous launch experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of oncology molecular testing / biomarkers
  • ~25% travel required (advisory boards, congresses, sales / marketing meetings, customer meetings)

  • This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone and read printed material.
  • Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) at times.
