Lease Accountant

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX National Dentex Corporate Office in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida for a Lease Accountant.  (Hybrid Remote-in office 2-3x a week)

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary duties:

• Update Lease Accelerator (lease accounting software)
• Coordinate with lease administration personnel to obtain accurate and timely lease information
• Process lease payments
• Review general ledger and prepare and post journal entries
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations
• Prepare documentation for external auditors

Skills\Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or at least 5 years’ experience in the accounting field
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently

Areas of responsibilities:

• Lease accounting – Right of Use and lease liability for new, modifications, terminations
• Lease accounting – Capital Lease Assets and financing liability for new, modifications, terminations
• Rent roll and prepaid rent accounting
• General accounting processes
