Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Thayer Dental Lab in Mechanicsburg, PA for a Full-Time CAD/CAM Technician II.
The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist on each case.

Enter patient information and scan stone models to create 3D virtual models

Insure all steps are followed, in order, for consistent and accurate results.

Enter every case with proper material and tooth number.

Adjust settings accordingly to product types.
-
Design PFM frames.
-
Check computer designs.
-
Send cases to DADL and manufacturer partners i.e.: Argen, implant companies, etc.

Import IOS cases and designs from DADL.
-
Generate CAMs.
-
3shape model builder.
-
Nest and print models.
-
Nest and mill PMMA, wax & zirconia.
-
Keep cases organized so that the flow of work stays on schedule.

Back-up for fixed preliminary
-
All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

CAD/CAM II: Must have 12 months of service or specified skills required for CAD/CAM Department or be a Recognized Graduate (RG) by National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology.CAD/CAM III: Must have 5 years of experience or specified skills required for CAD/CAM Department or be a Recognized Graduate (RG) by National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology. (Note: A DLT I may be assigned to the CAD/DAM Department.)
