Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 60 labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Keller Dental Lab in Fenton, MO for a Full-Time Purchasing/Accounting Clerk.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Responsible for purchasing inventory and MRO items.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships; negotiate to obtain the best pricing.
  • Process receipts in Oracle.
  • Use 3-way matching to ensure accuracy in purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
  • Assist with Purchase-Card receipt tracking and coding.
  • Assist with invoice coding.
  • Maintain the rolling usage report and distribute weekly.
  • Support business unit leaders with investigation of materials and equipment, as needed.
  • Serve as backup to the Inventory Controls Specialist.
  • Support month-end closing activities including inventory counts.
  • Work with the Inventory Controls Specialist to maintain and update AutoCreate, min/max, locators, etc. in Oracle.
  • Document and track returns and expected credit memos, following up as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Must read, write, speak and understand English well.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Must have a general understanding of purchasing and accounting processes.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to learn new software and skills quickly.
  • Must exhibit good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Must possess discipline to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Oracle Applications experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Must have the ability to analyze quantity, price and cost variances in order to make informed decisions.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have 1-3 years of experience in similar or supportive role.
