Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Lumident Dental Lab in Indianapolis, IN for a Full-Time Team Lead (Shipping & Receiving).
The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Leads all aspects of the shipping and receiving department.
- Has the ability to perform all tasks in department.
- Performs all management responsibilities of the department
- Design and implement systems that provide smooth and efficient work distribution, movement of exception cases and training processes that will insure adherence to procedures. Provide verification system that frequently “checks” the knowledge of team members.
- Actively be on the floor directing and managing resources to ensure all cases scheduled to go out each day are accounted for, calls made, rescheduled and notes input as required daily.
- Work with the production managers to balance into production needs with department capacity.
- Monitor quality of output in both shipping and receiving departments and track results.
- Monitor all S&R expenses for the departments, making necessary changes to meet budgetary objectives.
- Provide support and assistance to all co-workers, management and others throughout the lab regarding shipping and receiving functions.
- Provide alternative ideas and feedback relative to efficient production options for the shipping and receiving areas.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Demonstrates leadership skills, obtained through experience or recognized through observation
- Required: 1 year dental or manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements:

Experience
Required- 5 year(s): Minimum of 5 years dental technician experience, exhibiting competency in area of expertise in order to guide and train others
