Floating Maintenance Technician

The Opportunity:

National Development is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician that would split their time between a new apartment community located in West Roxbury, MA and other communities in the portfolio as needed. The ideal candidate would have great attitude, work ethic, as well as deliver top notch customer service. They should have good mechanical aptitude and possess general knowledge of maintenance. This is a Monday-Friday schedule that requires you rotate on call monthly. You will need a valid driver’s license and reliable car as travel is required.

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities include:

• Reliably handle emergency situations. Excellent communication and organizational skills are mandatory
• Maintain the interior and exterior physical condition of the assigned property in a professional manner
• Manage property work orders and unit turnover process
• Regularly care for buildings and grounds as needed
• Manage service vendors and associated contracts
• Communicate with Operations Director for guidance on floating days
