Position Title
: Associate Mgr. Member Service


Work Location: Morristown, NJ, Alpharetta, GA, Denver, CO, St. Louis, MO, or Omaha, NE

Duties And Responsibilities:


  • Review, analyze, and collaborate on the approval of cost studies, forecasts, average schedule data, carrier access bills, universal service and demand data in a manner ensuring accuracy and consistency among members as well as compliance with FCC rules and NECA procedures.
  • Maintain close business relationships with member companies and develop understanding of their position on key industry issues. Monitor and report member company needs with emphasis on enhancing member company satisfaction.
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies in monthly data processing. Document and explain anomalies and ensure accurate and timely revenue distribution to member companies. Educate member companies on NECA processes, systems, and tariff to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Function as region coordinator for specific activities.
  • Assist in researching issues and respond to member companies and others needing information and assistance to improve NECA’s and the membership’s position in a competitive environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: Strong verbal and written communication skills, High proficiency in Excel, Ability to develop and maintain working relationships, Strong analytical skills, Customer focused.


EXPERIENCE:

3-4 years in the following areas:

Accounting, Cost Analysis, Customer Service, Data Analysis/Management, Telecommunications.

Desired: Carrier Access Billing, Separations, Regulatory, Tariff Development, Training.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications or related field, or equivalent work experience.


Supervisory: None


Working Conditions:

Normal office environment.

Ability to travel up to 35% of time.
