Brief Job Description:As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will work with QA employees on all operations that fall within assigned department responsibilities. The Coordinator must have a working knowledge of SQF, FDA, HACCP/FSMA, and associated program requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for enforcing company rules and regulations per the Handbook guidelines.
Responsible for the development, management, and monitoring of all aspects of the quality function including scheduling and supervision of all QA associates
Responsible for the relevant aspects of team member development, and motivation of hourly team members
Responsible for implementing and maintaining Food Safety procedures with the production team members partnering with Production Management.
Responsible for training the team members on the critical points of the food safety system
Responsible for ensuring the quality, food safety, and consistency of all NF&B products
Responsible for maintaining all safety-related initiatives including, but not limited to, safety programs and incentives
Must be capable of learning and using with a high skill level the Accounting and Manufacturing systems used by NF&B, in addition to Label View Label program.
Must be capable of learning and using a high skill level of the ETQ system used by Truco Ent.
Maintain Key Performance Indicators for the operations to help meet production specifications and product standards, as well as reduce overall cost, maximize productivity and profitability
Manage and enforce the Food Safety procedures.
Follow QA Programs and to make sure that employees are in compliance as well, including, but not limited to:
Effective ability to perform all QA Technician functions and the knowledge to be capable of training new and existing employees in QA and FSQR related areas
Scheduling and management of sample collection/execution, including submission to the relevant 3rd party lab
Maintenance of the HOLD program (including updated HOLD log, Hold tag verifications, product inventory transfers and adjustment paperwork as relevant, etc.)
Reporting of relevant results from micro submissions, environmental analysis (air plates, water testing, driai testing)
Vendor claim documentation and communication internally and externally
COA completions for required customers
Maintenance of QA Supplies and ordering as approved
Calibration schedule control and communications with 3rd part scale service
Finished Product evaluation to include, sensory evaluations, and specification compliance.
Facility Inventory Support- participate in monthly inventory counts if needed
Recordkeeping including review of documentation, deviation reports, and filing of QA records.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Education: College Degree Preferred with a major in Food Science or related field and/or 5 years in Food & Beverage Industry in Quality Control/Quality Assurance Experience or relatable experience.
Language: Must Speak, Read and Write English-Fluently- Bilingual English and Spanish a plus
