Field Operator

National Fuel has an immediate, full-time opening for a Field Operator in our Operations department at our Brookville Field Office. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repairs and maintains gas well equipment and pipeline systems
• Service lines, house regulators, and meters
• Reading meters, customer service, collection work, and emergency leak response
• Keeps all necessary operating records
• Mowing, patrolling, and other general maintenance
• Reporting to and assisting other regional locations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Demonstrated mechanical ability
• Excellent customer service/communication skills
• Basic literacy is required. Ability to read, legibly prepare written documentation and have the ability to accurately interpret and analyze written information
• Basic computer knowledge for work order documentation
• The physical capability to work outdoors in all types of weather and the ability to work in and around hazards and difficult to reach areas is also require
• Available to work Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm
• Applicants must live within a reasonable commute to the Brookville Field location located at 103 Zents Blvd Brookville, PA 15825

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in plumbing, mechanical troubleshooting, and/or gas well tending

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This is a position within the Company’s collective bargaining unit with an hourly rate of pay of $28.93, and progress to $31.86/hr after 1 year.
