Job Purpose
Operationalize the installation of AMI technology, by delivering a robust deployment plan, providing strategic guidance, and assuring business readiness for the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) program.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and lead the operational aspects of AMI meter and module endpoint deployment.
- Responsible for the network design, deployment, and optimization of the AMI field area communication network (FAN) across the state
- Develop deployment schedules, assigns tasks, coordinate delivery, and ensure on-time completion of AMI.
- Manage regulatory relationships and delivery on key program compliance of all field deployment activities.
- Responsible for the financial forecast and delivery of CAPEX budget in alignment with program delivery.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and develop team members across Meter & Field Deployment team (MFD) and the AMI program.
- Track and delivery key program and regulatory performance targets
- Assure a robust inventory management process to minimize risk and delivery end point deployment goals
- Obtain required approvals and acceptance tests to provision new assets in MA
- Support the development of key business process and cross-functional collaboration in support of both AMI and Grid Modernization initiatives
- Foster critical relationships and manage key contracts with third-party vendors in support of AMI
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
- Able to motivate, counsel, coach, and develop direct reports and others
- Leading large cross functional and transformational projects and driving executive level change management
- Experience establishing clearly defined goals and standards of employee performance
- Ability to communicate complex information in simple, easy-to-understand ways
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to produce quality deliverables and meet deadlines
- Ability to recommend appropriate change, communications and training actions and provide broad support for a large, complex project
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations or a related field is required
- 10 years progressive experience in Engineering or Operations, with an emphasis on change management and strategic communication.
- Experience in Project Management and Customer Delivery a plus
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in creating and implementing change management strategies and leading operational transformation programs

$172,000 - $202,000/year
