IT Business Analyst Job Summary:
Our company is recruiting for a talented and self-motivated Business Analyst to assess every aspect of our daily business operations. For this position, you will examine existing and new systems for improvement, report common issues, evaluate company performance, and recommend new system procedures.
To excel in this position, you should be an experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of business processes and business system analysis techniques. The ideal candidate will also be dedicated and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
IT Business Analyst Duties/Responsibilities:
- Use corporate established "playbook" to assess small businesses technologies
- Lead effort to onboard new small business into corporate portfolio and integrate their various IT systems (e.g., migrate e-mail system)
- Create user guides, release notes and other supporting documentation
- Design efficient IT systems and processes to meet business and technology needs
- Plan and oversee internal IT projects
- Coordinate with 3rd party Managed Service Provider to complete technical tasks
- Configure and localize off the shelf business applications
- Be an advocate for end-users and provide advice and technical training
- Continue to build on and refine IT policies and procedures
- Research new technologies and trends to implement within the organization
IT Business Analyst Requirements:
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365; Any experience working with or developing solutions within SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, etc. are preferred
- Proven experience as an IT Analyst, IT Consultant, or similar role with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
- Experience in project management
- Knowledge of database architecture, cloud architecture, system security and troubleshooting
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Analytical mindset
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Minimum of an Associates in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
