What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Delivery Driver position at National Oak Brand?
National Oak Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Driver for our Miami warehouse. This person will drive a 26-ft. box truck over an established route to deliver products or render services. This position requires a CDL Class A or B license with Hazmat endorsement. The job is Monday-Thursday (40 hours) with the occasional Friday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Driver to perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues with vehicle if unsafe to drive.
• Keeps trucks clean, report any malfunctions to warehouse manager; make note of needed repair in logbook. If repair is not completed in a timely manner, report to supervisor.
• Verify piece counts, weights, invoices and numbers on Bill of Lading.
• Drives truck to deliver product to customer’s place of business.
• Collects payment from customers. Obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
• Escalates customer service complaints to supervisor.
• Loads truck (if instructed by supervisor).
• Ensures all hazardous material is logged and packaged correctly.
• Follow National Oak Distributors’ policies and Department of Transportation regulations at all times.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current Driver's License, CDL Class A or B with HAZMAT Endorsement required. Meet all Department of Transportation, Federal/State requirements.
