What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper- FT Days position at National Payroll Services Llc?
Job Summary
FT Days: 7AM-3:30PM
The housekeeper performs daily cleaning procedures in accordance with White Rock Medical Center training and polices in assigned areas. Other responsibilities include: policing the assigned area at the beginning of each shift, responding to housekeeping department pages, and any other tasks assigned by the department director.
Essential Functions:
- Able to lift 0-40 lbs frequently
- Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
- Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting furniture and equipment (25-100 lbs) frequently
- Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, a linen cart, or various equipment (over 100 lbs) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
- Must have communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Must be able to handle and interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, VIREX, etc.)
- Must be able to work holidays and even hours as needed per assigned area
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
