What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist - Full-Time (Pediatric) position at National Speech Language Therapy Center?

National Therapy Center, a minority-owned, family-friendly practice founded in 1990, specializes in working with children facing speech, language, motor, cognitive disorders, and learning challenges. Our team of over 50 experienced therapists provides speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) across three locations, offering endless growth opportunities.
Location Availability: Bethesda, MD | Germantown, MD | Washington, DC
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions.
- Monitor and document client progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Educate and support families in the therapy process.
- Maintain compliance with professional and legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure in Washington, DC, and Maryland.
- Preferred but not required:
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Early intervention experience is a plus.
- Experience with AAC, ASD, and feeding challenges is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Demands:
- Sitting: 4-5 hours/day.
- Walking: 2-3 hours/day.
- Lifting: Up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Crawling: Occasionally required.

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
