Job Posting for Graphic Artist [JNR] at National Stem Cell Foundation.
The Junior Graphic Designer will apply art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials. This Junior Graphic Design will work in a team approach with other Designers, Content Creators and the Creative Team on a variety of projects and assignments. Assignments primarily come from the Creative/Lead Designer, or upper management. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, with well-developed critical thinking skills who is able to process, react to, and solve problems in a timely manner as they arise. What you can bring:
1-2 years of experience in graphic design.
Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Design or Web Design or equivalent experience is preferred.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects is a plus.
Possess a passion for, and strength in, recognizing excellent web typography and photography.
Collaborate in the development of project concepts, and apply a consistent design approach to a wide range of digital content.
Work on multiple projects at once, take feedback constructively, and meet project deadlines.
What you will do:
Conceptualizes, elevates, maintains and is accountable for quality of work and timeliness of delivery across multiple creative projects.
Owns and collaborates on the design and direction for site, email marketing and social media projects across all platforms.
Works directly with the marketing, copywriting, merchandising, and project management team to create engaging, inspiring and on brand marketing projects.
Ensures on time and accurate delivery of all short and long term initiatives.
Demonstrates flexibility, organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
Having a positive, proactive, self-starting attitude.
Ensures high standards and quality assurance across all work produced so that it is cohesive, consistent, and brand-right.
