The main responsibility for the Driver position is the timely and safe delivery of tires, wheels and other products to our NTD customers. This role is a key component of a dynamic team focused on providing our customers with everything they require to succeed. The position will introduce the employee to multiple functions within NTD Delivery and Operations. Key to success in this role is the ability to adapt to and perform various processes efficiently and safely. As a main point of contact with our customer base maintaining a courteous and professional manner is critical. This position will provide the Driver with the knowledge and experience necessary for growth within NTD. Key Competencies: Specialized provincial licensing required Must have a valid driver's license (class 1, D or equivalent, depending on the province) and a clean MVR Possess excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to start, control and maintain a complete process or procedure, while keeping safety and compliance at the forefront Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions, as well as provide instructions to other associates Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work. Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
