Job Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the financial processes of the Conservation Department to include but not limited to grants, agreements, stewardship contracting, invoicing, and purchase orders. This position will directly assist Administrative Assistant(s), Stewardship Agreement and Contracting Manager, the Grants and Finance Manager and the Director of Conservation Administration as it relates to budgetary and accounting practices, while indirectly supporting the remaining conservation staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor grants & stewardships through the Conservation Reporting System in order to process check requests, invoices, timesheets, and prepare reports to support project management
Ensure journal entries are completed at the end of each month
Maintain individual project files
Prepare invoices for Federal and State agencies at the direction of Grants and Finance Manager and the Stewardship Coordinator order to secure agreement funding
Attend and contribute as needed to grants and stewardship update meetings each month
Upload documents to Conservation Reporting System
Review contracts, agreements, and associated documents for correctness
Assist with budget preparation, as needed
Attend annual NWTF Convention, regional meetings and training opportunities, as necessary
Performs other related duties, as assigned

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
At least two years related experience required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Remote or Telecomm Status:
Position can work remotely
