Position Overview

Summary

Under the oversight of the Executive Director, the Director of  Program Administration is responsible for the operational success of programs statewide.  Conducting strategic analysis planning to identify and streamline efficiency processes(s) across statewide program(s) operations. Utilizes strategic development programming to respond to local community needs while supporting NYAP’s mission, vision and values. This position liaisons with the Executive Director, program directors or managers and continuous quality improvement in order to oversee community networking and engagement; referral population identification and expansion; existing and new program growth, and directs staff training and development.   

Responsibilities

The Director of Program Administration work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies:

  • Oversee and lead statewide programs and development.
  • Evaluates program performance and operational efficiency by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.  Utilizes data for program improvement.
  • Identify and implement strategies and establish program standards for quality service, growth and expansion, and employee and team development.
  • Create and present training targeting program sustainability and growth, CQI and employee and team development.
  • Responsible for risk identification and management.
  • Collaborate and align staff with corporate resources.
  • Liaison with external stakeholders including professional, regulatory and government agencies.
  • Lead and supports to supervisors, program staff and contractors.
  • Provide supervision as designated by Executive Director.
  • Designated appointee for the Executive Director, Program Director and Program Supervisors in their absence. Assist in direct services provision as needed. Submit strategy and operations reports as requested.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate Degree in Human Services related field; or Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience.  
  • Minimum 2 year of program management and leadership experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ strategic analysis and reporting experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automobile insurance and a good driving record.
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
