FAMILY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR:
National Youth Advocate Program is seeking vibrant and dynamic individuals who share our passion and drive to make a difference among families and communities! The Family Engagement Coordinator works with families and the SC Department of Social Services. She/he facilitates meetings between the family group and child welfare agency personnel through an exciting family-driven, child-focused process which positions the family group as key decision makers alongside the agency in matters concerning the safety and wellbeing of their children. Family Engagement Coordinators facilitate meetings, manage high-volume communications, and complete/submit accurate documentation within deadlines.
We are seeking professionals to work as independent contractors, who can readily engage with people and have a bachelor’s degree, flexible availability, excellent computer/writing skills, and ability to maintain composure in high emotion situations to join the NYAP family! We partner with SC Department of Social Services to provide the training to get a state-wide recognized Family Engagement Coordinators Certification.

The person in this position needs to follow a team concept and support both agency goals and co-workers. Contractors must be able to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds.
