RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Marketing Communications Specialist will perform duties including, but not limited to:

• Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.
• With direction of Director of Communications and Public Relations, develop both internal and external communications including press releases, blogs, digitals newsletter, etc.
• Create content for, manage and monitor social network programs. 
• Create and maintain marketing materials.
• Coordinate Requests for Proposal (RFP) and assist with creation and maintenance of all supporting documentation. 
• Assist in coordination of conferences including advertising, campaign development, and other related duties. 
• Manage marketing shipments and inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent. College Degree is preferred.
• 2 years of work experience in marketing, communications or related field.
• Strong writing and design skills.
• Advanced in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Adobe Suite.
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
