Nations Roof, one of the largest commercial roofing contractors, ranked in the Top 5 Roofing Contractors in the US. Our projects range in scope from large-scale new construction to complete tear-offs, re-roofing and renovations of existing building exteriors, and on-going roof maintenance, inspection, and repairs of all major commercial roof systems.

Job Summary: The Commercial Roofing Sales Specialist will present reroofing options, roof management, safety protection, and other services offered by Nations Roof to current and new clientele.

Responsibilities and Functions:

  • Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
  • Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
  • Presents options, functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
  • Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Expected to work within our team of professionals to grow the business


Education and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, Business, or related field. Any equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
  • Sales experience in commercial roofing or similar industry, highly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to lift and climb up and down a 30 ft. ladder or flights of stairs
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds at times.
  • Abide by all job-site safety requirements, including PPE, and fall protection
  • Must be team orientated and be willing to perform based on the company’s Core Values
  • A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
