What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Network Administrator position at Nations Roof?
Responsible for supporting the Director of IT in the execution of the IT Department initiatives. This includes maintaining and optimizing the use of existing applications and applying modern technology solutions to support all departments and functions of the business.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist IT Director in development and implementation of Information Technology policies standards and procedures
- Perform as client technical project lead working with Managed Service Providers technical staff through planning and implementation of IT related projects
- Assist with other IT projects as assigned by management
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 – 10 years of proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role with knowledge of current IT technologies products and services
- Project coordination / project management
- General networking knowledge including VPN Firewall Switches etc.
- Microsoft server configuration
- VMWare
- Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with MS Exchange / Office 365
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work with multiple teams in highly autonomous environment
- Must possess good communication skills and the ability to interact with staff and vendors
- Must be able to work effectively with little daily supervision
- Problem solving skills
- Stable work history
