Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a potential opportunity supporting our government customer. This role’s primary location is in Huntsville, AL. and will focus on managing the Implementation of the full range of the Software Development Life Cycle (requirements gathering and analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance) with respect to SharePoint application development for client-side and provider hosted web applications within the SharePoint environment as well as migration from SharePoint 2016 to O365.

Position Overview:

This role’s primary location is in Huntsville, AL. and will focus on managing the Implementation of the full range of the Software Development Life Cycle (requirements gathering and analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance) with respect to SharePoint application development for client-side and provider hosted web applications within the SharePoint environment as well as migration from SharePoint 2016 to O365.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead for development and maintenance of internal and external SharePoint sites and content management.
- Able to provide technical direction and hands-on support as required for SharePoint configuration and web development and training.
- Leads team on large projects or significant segment of large complex projects.
- Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
- Prepares long and short-range plans necessary for all aspects of project execution.
- Oversees all aspects of projects.
Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years relevant experience as a Project Manager and team lead.
- Must possess IT-III security clearance or have a current National Agency or an Active Secret Clearance or Check with written Inquiries (NACI)
Must have experience with the following:
- MS Office Suite: MSWord, Excel, Access, Project Management, Power Point
- Experience implementing Knowledge Management solutions in SharePoint 2016 and O365.
- Strong working knowledge of SharePoint and content management.
