Nationwide IT Services is seeking an experienced SharePoint Architect for a potential opportunity supporting our government customer. This role’s primary location is in Huntsville, AL.
This role will focus on implementation of a full range of the Software Development Life Cycle (requirements gathering and analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance) with respect to SharePoint application development for client-side and provider hosted web applications within the SharePoint environment as well as migration from SharePoint 2016 to O365.

Position Overview:
Nationwide IT Services is seeking an experienced SharePoint Architect for a potential opportunity supporting our government customer. This role’s primary location is in Huntsville, AL.
This role will focus on implementation of a full range of the Software Development Life Cycle (requirements gathering and analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance) with respect to SharePoint application development for client-side and provider hosted web applications within the SharePoint environment as well as migration from SharePoint 2016 to O365.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serves as subject matter expert, possessing in-depth knowledge of IT systems/platforms, specifically Microsoft SharePoint and the Power Platform.
- Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
- Participates as needed in all phases of systems and web application development and implementation with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.
- Enables, configures, and implements SharePoint service applications to meet the business needs of the organization.
- Enables, configures, and implements site collection and site Features to meet the business needs of the organization.
- Serves as subject matter expert for migration efforts from SharePoint 2016 to O365 using the Metalogix migration tool. Provide guidance on content restructuring reorganization as needed.
Qualifications:
- Seven (7) years relevant experience with SharePoint
- Must possess IT-III security clearance or have a current National Agency or an Active Secret Clearance or Check with written Inquiries (NACI)
- Relevant certifications including Power Platform Solution Architect Expert preferred.
Must have experience with the following:
- MS Office Suite: MSWord, Excel, Access, Project Management, Power Point. MS Project and O365 apps
- Strong working knowledge of SharePoint and content management.
