Warehouse manager

• This rolewill be responsible and accountable for the HSE and Food Safetyperformance of the team through the adherence to all PGP s Health& Safety and Environmental policies and procedures as wellas to all relevant OSHA regulations in order to achieve ZEROworkplace incidents and injuries.
• Therole will ensure that all warehouse work loading unloading drivinginspections counting and GMP are completed according to PGP s HSEpolicies &procedures.
• Maintaina safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcingstandards and procedures and by complying with legalregulations.
• Ensurethat the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customersatisfaction as the primary goal by supervising organizing trainingwarehouse employees and establishing monitoring and managingoperationalgoals.
• Developwarehouse operations systems by determining product handling andstorage requirements equipment utilization inventory gate processesand shippingmethods.
• Trainand manage the warehouse team to solve daytoday operational issuesand reach short and longterm performancegoals.
• Overseedaily operations while controlling and managing inventory andlogistics.
• Reviewand prepare workflows staffing requirements space allocationsequipment layouts and action plans that meet company standards forproductivity quality and customerservice.
• Supervisedaily warehouse activities including quality assurance inventorycontrol space management logistics floor productivity shipping andcustomerservice.
• Inspectequipment tools and machinery regularly and oversee generalmaintenance whennecessary.
• Meetdaily with the warehouse team to analyze productivity and developactionable plans for loss prevention and efficiencyreduction.
• Scheduleand oversee warehouse teams and manage the flow and quality of workto maximize efficiency and minimizeovertime.
• Ensurethe training and development of staff ismaintained.
• Monitorworkplace performance and lead training initiatives to improveemployees.
• Delegateand allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage initiatives andprojects from end toend.
• Ensurethat all team members efficiently always use the scan guns to scanin move prepare stage and scan out pallets of product as they aremoved and loaded tocustomers.
• Prepareand analyze inventory reports reviews effectiveness of operatingprocedures and drive changes for improvements asneeded.
• HandleInternal and ExternalContacts.

Requirements

• B.A.degree in Supply Chain Production Operations Management or relatedcurriculum.
• Atleast 6 years of directly related experience required in aWarehousing / Logistics DistributionDepot
• Managementand leadership of a team (10 peoplepreferred)
• Experiencewith an ERP and WMS system (SAP Microsoft Dynamics JD Edwardsetc.).
• Foodmanufacturing(preferred)
• HSECertifications(desirable)

• PCQI(desirable)
• Allergenmanagement(desirable)

B.A. degree in Supply Chain, Production Operations Management, orrelated curriculum. At least 6 years of directly related experiencerequired in a Warehousing / Logistics, Distribution Depot Managementand leadership of a team (10 people preferred) Experience with anERP and WMS system (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, etc.
