Description :
The Administrative Assistant will assist the VP Ag Sales and Sales Department with a wide range of day-to-day support activities.
This person must be able to professionally handle a continually changing work climate with finesse and tact.
Responsibilities
Design mixes for customers depending on the project's needs / specifications
Send regular communication to customer base
Maintain stock of house mixes and mix new quantities as needed
Maintain customer records with accurate contact information
Process and print orders entered into Seedops
Make inventory adjustments in Seedops as necessary
Manage seed test process by ensuring new samples are sent before lot expires
Maintain electronic filling and documentation systems
Function as a resource to managers, employees, and other staff when appropriate
Help Answer calls and relay messages timely and accurately
Requirements :
Highly organized
Ability to foresee and preempt problems
Strong attention to detail and highly accurate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments at one time
Active listening skills paired with critical thinking skills
Ability to self-start and work independently while also contributing as an effective team member
Ability to diplomatically interact with all personnel within and out of our organization
Ability to respond to quick turn-around requests
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
Administrative experience providing support to office staff
Associate's Degree from an accredited university or college preferred
Knowledge of Native Seed varieties both local and regional
