`The Manufacturing Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the manufacturing department. This will be achieved through the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan by partnering with Production Manager(s)· Efficiently and effectively fill manufacturing positions· Creates and builds networks and relationships with technical schools, colleges, and community services to enhance active employee recruiting and identify/develop passive recruiting sources as well.· Plan and organize onsite job fairs, research and recommend external job fair opportunities for manufacturing.· Manage online manufacturing job postings (create, post, update, review, screen, etc.)· Coordinate the new hire process (background & reference checks, schedule drug screen, prepare paperwork, create files, etc.)· Manage the communication process for onboarding (notify appropriate staff members, schedule all onboarding activities).· This list is not intended to be all-inclusive. - Source potential candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks
- Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidate qualifications
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate fit for the position
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings on potential hires
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Stay informed about current employment labor laws and regulations

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a recruiter or in a related role
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring candidates
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as UltiPro, lever, PeopleSoft, or Taleo
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms for recruitment purposes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively evaluate candidate qualifications and assess fit for the position
- Experience conducting reference checks and background screenings
- Proficiency in conducting research on industry trends and best practices in recruitment
- Familiarity with employee evaluation processes
