Job Overview:
Natron Corporation, a franchise of Taco Bell, is seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to join our team. As a Kitchen Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of kitchen equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, refrigeration, HVAC, steamers, cabinet heaters, rethermalizers, hot water dispensers, hot and cold wells, and more.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to assemble and disassemble equipment
- Test equipment functionality after repairs or installations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts inventory
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Equipment Service Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical components
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and their components
- Experience working with box trucks for delivery purposes
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose equipment issues accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
