Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with the Role)
- Master Craftsmanship: Lead projects with expertise in dry-stack retention wall building using naturally sourced materials, segmental block wall construction, and creating stunning flagstone/paver patios, ensuring every work complements the natural beauty of the surroundings.
- Operational Excellence: Skillfully operate excavators and mini skid steers for precise grading work, ensuring efficient maneuvering around homesites and proficiency in towing machinery and handling trailers, and ensuring equipment is always ready for action.
- Design & Client Interaction: Demonstrate a keen aesthetic eye for drainage, grading, and the artistic spacing of materials, ensuring all projects are visually harmonious. Plus, actively engage with clients, understand their vision, and translate it into practical, aesthetically pleasing plans and quotes.
Results (Expected Accomplishments)
- Project Completion: Successfully and timely completion of projects while delivering on quality and creating an enjoyable atmosphere for the team and client.
- Client Satisfaction: Raving fans. Clients will encourage their friends to work with us while consistently taking the time to leave us reviews online.
- Consistent Problem Solving: Every project is different and has its unique challenges. Effectively handle, solve, and communicate outcomes to clients, team members, and our admin team.
Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)
- Expertise in Hardscaping techniques: Proficiency in dry-stack building. A keen understanding of spacing, grouping, and laying materials is vital.
- Machinery Operation & Handling: Ability to operate, maneuver, and park a work truck with excavators and mini skid steers for grading tasks. Competence in towing, loading, and safely securing bobcat excavators and other machinery.
- Availability and Ability: Have a valid driver's license and the ability to work outside and consistent hours.
