SUMMARY
We are seeking a Digital Design Manager to co-lead the creative team as well as drive the development of high-quality, effective digital content. In this role, you will be responsible for creating content for our digital channels inclusive of direct-to-consumer (DTC) to bring the brand to life through storytelling via our website, email/SMS marketing, social media, eTail media and other digital marketing channels. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies that drive engagement, build brand awareness, and improve customer retention. This role also drives optimization within the existing Product Information and Content Management systems with support from the eCommerce team. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of digital design and management experience.

This role is hybrid out of our Minneapolis office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and execute content strategies for DTC sales channels, including website, video content, email/SMS marketing, social media, eTail media and other digital marketing channels.
- Demonstrate a breadth of design skills in digital media, eComm and direct-to-consumer
- Work within brand guidelines to deliver brand consistent creative that propels the brand forward and differentiates within the category.
- Ability to effectively lead and develop a team of designers and copywriters
- Strong grasp on our consumer, the competitive landscape in digital channels, and historical learnings in order to advocate for strategic creative within the organization.
- Present design concepts and design thinking to cross-functional team including marketing, sales, and executive leadership and gain alignment and approvals.
- Set priorities and be accountable from concept to final design delivery.
- Partner with Regulatory and Legal ensuring consumer-facing content is approved.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role has supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Graphic Design)
- Preferred 7-10 years of professional experience in marketing/creative agency services
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with digital media/eComm content/web design
- Experience in developing content strategies that drive engagement, build brand awareness, and improve customer retention.
- Demonstrated success in developing high-quality, engaging content for DTC sales channels, including website, loyalty marketing, social media, video content and other digital marketing channels.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dimension, Adobe XD),
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) - Opportunistic and looking for ways to optimize creative processes and efficiencies of creative development.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in digital retail, specifically content management and site merchandising
- Strong project management skills, with experience in managing content development from ideation to publication including working with agency and freelance/contractor partners.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Must be able to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with Product Information and Content Management systems.
- Experience with Google Analytics, tagging, SEO, heat mapping tools, and A/B testing platforms is a plus.
- Experience in a Shopify environment is a plus.
- Experience in the vitamin and supplement industry is a plus.
