The company primarily serves the private label and contract packaging market for over-the-counter medications and personal care products. The company’s products are sold in mass retailers, drug chains, and dollar stores. Natureplex maintains its headquarters and a production facility in Olive Branch, MS along with a second production facility in Memphis, TN. We currently have an opening for Controller at our Olive Branch location.

Job Summary:
The Controller will plan and direct the accounting operations of the company.
Management Responsibilities:
• Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and payroll.• Serves on senior management team and advises other operational functions as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures and a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. • Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance.• Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reportssignificant budget differences to management.• Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.• Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.• Works with banks & other financing sources and manages cash operations.• Manages order to cash cycle with customers and suppliers.• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.• Makes presentations to other departments as needed.• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Excellent organizational and time management skills.• Proficient in accounting software.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.• Manufacturing and inventory management experience strongly preferred.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.• Eight years or more of related experience required.• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
Salary : $96,000 - $122,000
