The Quality Technician is an important role responsible for ensuring that Device History Records (DHR) comply with requirements per the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s). You can expect to ensure top quality for a variety of medical devices in a fast-paced and high-volume manufacturing setting.

Main Responsibilities
- Files and retrieves Device History Records (DHR)
- Assist with off-site record retention and disposal
- Implements, coordinates and assists with other projects as assigned including team participation
- Maintains familiarity with appropriate regulations/standards relative to medical device design, engineering and distribution (i.e. ISO 13485, FDA Part 21 820, Medical Device Directive/Medical Device Regulation, etc.)
- Performs quality audits per procedure to maintain compliance with internal and domestic standards
- Assists/approves incoming materials and approving Incoming Inspection/Nonconforming rework records
- You can expect to incur overtime at the end of the month/quarter
Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with basic testing equipment
- ASQ certification a plus but not required
- Physical Requirements: the employee occasionally must lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
