Roles & Responsibilities Purpose of Role •Responsible for market making and trade execution of G10 FXforwards for the benefit of NatWest Markets clients, and management of the resulting risk. What you’ll do •Responsible for making prices and/or trade execution for assigned product area to/for clients and taking risk on the back of such flows to generate revenue. •Managing risk positions within authorised desk limits and executing hedging strategies to ensure risks limits are not breached •Accurate booking of all trading activities within the relevant system •Timely follow up of trade queries to minimise the risk of errors •Creation of innovative trade ideas •Provide comments to clients and sales regarding market conditions and movements •Build relationships with key clients and stakeholders •Provide consistent levels of pricing •Escalate any breaches, risks or weakness in line with policy Customer •Meet/exceed thefinancial objectives (revenue) and manage costs as set down by the trading head •Ensure that client pricing capability is consistent with the aim of capturing and increasing client footprint •Work with sales to widen client footprint and deepen client penetration with top tier clients •Responsible for trading and risk management within authorised trading limits for the assigned product area •Contribute to overall desk trading strategy •Ensure product area is compliant with dealing authorities, positions and risk limits and NatWest Markets' and Regulators' rules and regulations The skills you’ll need •Ideally you will have obtained a quantitative, math, engineering or science degree. •Experience in G10 FX forwards and min relevant experience of 6 years •Excellent people skills •Strong work ethic, with a high degree of maturity, self-initiative, integrity, enthusiasm, and must be a team player •Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced trading environment •Enjoy working in challenging and dynamic environment
